Ever wonder how Filipinos make their own “anime”?
Animahenasyon is an annual Filipino animation festival that features the different animation works of both aspiring and professional animators in the country through a competition. Also part of the festival is the animation master classes/seminars/workshops, and exhibits of the works of seasoned animators and lifetime achievement awardees.
This year’s Animahenasyon will be held on November 22-25, 2011 at Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City.
Various animation seminars/workshops and booth exhibit are featured on the first three days of the event. Full schedule here.
On the last day of the event, November 25, there will be a cosplay competition as their side activities. Pinoy Super Heroes Group Cosplay will be held in the morning while Animahenasyon Animation Cosplay will be in the afternoon. Rules and mechanics for both cosplay competitions here.

Animahenasyon 2011 is organized by Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc, in conjunction with Toei Animation Philippines, Inc.’s 25th anniversary, and co-presented by Eastwood City.
