In the recent episode of Pinoy Big Brother Uber aired last Friday, the late afternoon edition of the reality television show Pinoy Big Brother featured cosplayers visiting Kuya’s house.

Myrtle who is also a cosplayer came to a shock when she first saw them, even her fellow housemates were also shocked upon seeing them  inside the house. She even knows some of the cosplayers who were members of the cosplay organization, Cosplay Network Philippines and some, winners of the previous HERO Face off.

They were:

Jan Erick Torres – Hero Face off 2011 Champion
Mary Grace Roldan – Hero Face off 2010 Champion
Stephanie Sumbre – Hero Face off 2010 Champion

Leah Chan as Lily Rain Eve from Cosmic Break
Samantha Tan De Guzman as Kisrill from Cosmic Break
Jia Gold Bustamante as Shaiya Goddess

Some of the girl housemates commented nakakatakot, ang galing!;  hirap mag-cosplay, gusto kong mag-cosplay” and dapat sexy ka! (if you want to cosplay) After performing a “catwalk” inside the house, the housemates were able to ask them questions on being a cosplayer.

Here are what they asked:

Jai: Kayo gumawa niyan?
Karen:  Paano gumawa ng mga costumes? Kayo ba gumagawa?

Jia: Oo

Karen: Dapat detailed po talaga noh?

Leah: Ita-try niyo kasing sundan yung character, yung details, mas madetalye, mas maganda so as much as possible maraming detalye, maraming butingting, mga gems, mga ilaw-ilaw

Joj: Okay lang po kahit anong taong gulang . . . ?

Jia: Meron pa ngang batang maliliit na ganon tapos yung iba kahit matanda na, okay pa rin sila. Nakakapag-project pa rin sila sa cosplay
Leah: . . . Walang age ang tinitignan. Open ang cosplay  for everyone.
Jia: As long as ieexpress mo talaga ang hilig mo sa anime, sa mga games, okay na okay yun.

Jaj: So adik na adik kayo sa anime (everyone laughs)

Leah: Hindi naman . .

After the question and answer portion, they were called to the confession room and bid goodbye to the housemates. Kuya asked them what were first reaction with the housemates with one commented, “Hindi sila handa” pertaining to a male housemate who still wears boxer short. One also commented, “Akala nila statue o kartoon o picture ni Myrtle” while the one cosplayer said, “Nakakatuwa pero may halong kaba.”

In the end, Kuya thanked the cosplayers for visiting his house.

PBB Uber host Robi Domingo said:

Ngayon ko lang naappreciate yung pagko-cosplay kasi there is art and passion din naman sa pagko-cosplay. Hindi lang siya parang na gawain na . . .

Ms Bianca Gonzales also commented:

This episode of PBB Uber is “sponsored” for HERO TV’s upcoming cosplay event HERO Face off 2012 and Amped Philippines’ Amped Fest.
