According to official Twitter, mangaka Higa Aloha has announced the fantasy comedy manga series Shirokuma Cafe will go on indefinite hiatus on Monthly Flowers magazine .

Higa posted that upon airing of the manga’s anime adaptation last April, she has been left out from the TV project despite several requests to the management. Furthermore, no contracts were signed for the said anime series.

After the announcement of hiatus, the editorial department of the magazine made an apology to her and assured her to have her supervise the anime adaptation’s character designs and scripts.

It follows around the everyday lives of a group of animals mingling with humans at a café run by a polar bear.
