Official website of  Warner Brothers Japan has announced that the DVD/ Blu-ray release of live action film adaptation of Rurouni Kenshin is set before the year end.

To be released on December 26, 2012  in Japan, the standard edition DVD/BD contains the 134-minute movie itself with compilation of event videos, TV spots and the character PVs. Price will be 2,980 and 3,990 yen for DVD and Blu-ray, respectively.

There will be also a Deluxe edition RK DVD / BD that comes in a special box packaging containing the same contents as above plus special digipack + booklet, films soundtrack,  film scripts. Another disc that contains videos of staff commentaries, cast interviews, compilation of deleted, behind-the-scene footage and movie PVs/trailers, is also included in the package. Price will be at 5,985 yen and 6,930 yen for DVD and Blu-ray, respectively and will released on the same date.

Both editions can now be pre-ordered online via Amazon Japan and Asmart.
