Southeast Asian anime channel Aniplus Asia announced on Tuesday that it has started streaming Pikotaro’s Lullaby La La By anime short on its video streaming service. Episode 1 to 3 are already available onsite.
The series will be also air simulcast on the channel starting with Episode 4 on August 23 at 11:55PM (PHT).
Aniplus Asia describes the series as follows: From the singer of the worldwide viral hit “PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)” comes his new anime creation! Drawing inspiration from illustrations by series director Takashi Taniguchi, Pikotaro performs a three-minute, ad-libbed reading of classic fairy tales beloved around the world, including the likes of Jack and the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding-Hood. The viral sensation returns to bring you bedtime stories with a twist. You’ll fall into slumber in no time.
Pikotaro’s Lullaby La La by premiered in Japan on August 2, 2017.
ANIPLUS Asia is available in the Philippines on Skycable Channel 139 and over-the-top video streaming mobile app Tribe.
