LOOK: Serena Kozuki performed live at AsiaPOP Comicon Manila

Fans of Japanese idols and artists witnessed the “Live Monster” and solo indie idol Serena Kozuki as she performed for the first time in Philippines at the recently concluded AsiaPOP Comicon Manila last weekend.

The eighteen-year old idol from Nagano Prefecture is widely known for the song Shake the DiCE, the ending song of the 4th OAV in the Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki anime series.

In her live performace, she sang several anime songs which includes Butterfly (Digimon Adventure Opening song), Scramble (School Rumble Opening Song) and nerve. She also sang the opening and ending theme songs of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki.

She encouraged her fans to come closer to the stage and sing along, much to the delight of her wota (fans of Japanese idols), who cheered and supported her all throughout of her performance.

At the end of her live concert, she expressed her thanks to the fans.

During our small interview, Kozuki said that she is very happy to perform here in the Philippines and she is hoping to perform here again.
