Singapore-based distribution company Odex Pte. Ltd. has announced on Friday that anime film Natsume Yuujinchou: Utsusemi ni Musubu will be screened in Philippine cinemas this year.
Odex teased the promotional trailer of the film on their Facebook page. Details such as premiere date will be announced soon.

Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him. Containing the names of these spirits, a binding contract was formed between the spirits and the owner of the book. Now, Natsume is determined to free the spirits and dissolve the contracts. With the help of a spirit cat, his days are filled trying to return the names to these spirits.
It was previously announced that Odex will also release several anime films in the country soon. The list includes Crayon Shin-chan: Burst Serving! Kung Fu Boys ~Ramen Rebellion~, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation, Bungo Stray Dogs DEAD APPLE, Detective Conan: Zero The Enforcer and SERVAMP –Alice in the Garden–.
