The first feature film of My Hero Academia is finally confirmed to screen in Philippines soon.
A large promotional poster of My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film with a tag “Coming Soon’ is shown at the booth of Pioneer Films during the Best of Anime 2018. The film distributor is one of the exhibitors of the anime convention, which is happening on August 25-26 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
The film sets after the anime series’ second season.
Deku and All Might are invited to a summer trip at “I Island”, a man-made island where the top scientists of the world reside and perform research on Quirks. During their stay, Izuku meets Melissa Shield, one of the island’s residents who is Quirkless, like he was once, and they become close friends. When the mysterious villain Wolfram takes control of the island, threatening to kill all its residents, it falls to the Hero Association and the students of U.A. High to stop him
The film opened in Japan on August 3. The film is set to screen soon in other countries of Southeast Asia.
