Filipino wins second place in the Gunpla Builders World Cup 2018

Filipino hobbyist James Marc Quinsaat won the second place prize in the recently concluded GunPla Builders World Cup 2018 Finals held last December 9 in Tokyo, Japan.

His entry is entitled “Everything starts with a Proto type”. “The main concept is to have a Prototype Gundam designed and built by “Gyanko”, assisted by G.U.S.bot (General Utility Service bot) that is not weaponized but instead meant to help people. Yusuke Sato from Japan took the championship this year with his Gundam Exia R II diorama while Thailand’s Vichayuth Eiam-Ong bagged third place.
