The Cosplay Tournament of Champions (TORCH), a national competition for cosplayers is returning this year at Anime & Cosplay Expo (ACX) 2019.
Now called ‘TORCH Reborn’, the competition will now serve as the preliminary qualifier for the Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival (Gicof) 2019.
The competition is open to a team of two Filipinos aged 18 and above. They must be in cosplay costume from ANY intellectual properties such as anime, manga, tokusatsu, comic books, movies and video games.
Interested contestants can register online. Deadline of submission will be on June 7.
The winners will be selected on June 8 at Anime & Cosplay Expo (ACX) 2019. They will be the official Philippine representative for Gicof 2019, which will happen in August at Bucheon, South Korea.
ACX 2019 will happen on June 8-9, 2019 at Function Room 1 of the SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
