Japanese record producer Yasutaka Nakata will be performing in the upcoming Cosplay Mania 2019 event this September.
Cosplay.ph, organizer of the event made the announcement on Monday. He is set to perform at the Japanese Anime Music, also known as the JAM Concert of the event.
Apart from being a record producer, Nakata is also a DJ and composer. He began his career 2001 with the song ‘Sakura’ when he, together with vocalist Toshiko Koshijima formed the band Capsule. He is also known for being the music producer of Japanese girl group Perfume and Japanese model-turned-singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
Nakata will join the previously announced JAM artists MYTH & ROID and Asaka in the event.
Cosplay Mania 2019 will celebrate its 11th year on September 28-29, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Tickets are now on sale via the SM ticket website.
