Japanese anisong artist May’n is set to return to Manila on September for the upcoming Cosplay Mania 2019 event.
Cosplay.ph, organizer of the event made the announcement on Friday on their social media pages. She is set to perform at the Japanese Anime Music, also known as the JAM Concert of the event.
May’n is most famously known for providing the voice of Sheryl Nome in the anime series Macross Frontier. She also performed the theme song for Macross Frontier as well as the other songs featured on the soundtrack.
Since then, she has performed the opening and ending theme songs for several TV anime, dramas, movies and games, which includes Blood Lad, Accel World, Aria the Scarlet Ammo, and many more.
This is her second time to perform in Manila with the first one at Animax Carnival Philippines in 2016.
May’n will join the previously announced JAM artists MYTH & ROID, Asaka and Yasutaka Nakata in the event.
Cosplay Mania 2019 will celebrate its 11th year on September 28-29, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Tickets are now on sale via the SM ticket website.
