Japanese voice actresses (seiyuu) Motoko Kumai and Rumi Okubo, who are known for voicing Syaoran Li of Cardcaptor Sakura and Astolfo of Fate/Apocrypha, respectively are coming to Cosplay Mania 2019 this September.
Cosplay.ph, organizer of the event made the announcement on Friday. The two seiyuu will be visiting the country for the first time.
Apart from Syaoran Li, Kumai is also known for her role as Sumomo of Chobits, Coffret of Heartcatch Precure, Nataku of X/1999, Kaoru Koganei of Flame of Recca and Takao Kinomiya in Beyblade.
On the other hand, Okubo is popular for voicing Tsumiki Miniwa of Acchi Kocchi, Ako Shirabe of Suite Precure and Lunalu of Granblue Fantasy, Elizabeth Bathory.
Kumai and Okubo will join the other Japanese guests: Hige Driver, Yasutaka Nakata, MYTH & ROID, Asaka and May’n in the event.
Other guests include Japanese cosplay duo Venas Japan and Singaporean cosplayers Reakami and Boiled Curry.
Cosplay Mania 2019 will celebrate its 11th year on September 28-29, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Tickets are now on sale via the SM ticket website.
