Filipino pop-idol Ash Garcia bade farewell to all-girl group MNL48, Hallohallo Entertainment announced Wednesday night.
In the statement posted on the official website, Garcia has left the idol group due to personal reasons.
The website also contains her message to her fans and fellow members.
Here is her message:
“Hello everyone, this may be the end of my MNL48 journey, but this is only the start of my journey through life with all of you. I am thankful for all the experiences I gained throughout a year and a half together. It will be the memories I will treasure forever.
“I would like to thank everyone at HHE and AKS for taking the chance and for believing in what the girls can offer. Thank you for making MNL48 a reality, and for the opportunity for us to grow.”
“To the members, keep on keeping on. Show your best smiles, and always stay strong for each other. To the fans, thank you for all your support. Please continue to send love to the girls and to each other.”
She will have her final performance on September 15 at the Movie Stars Cafe.
Ash Garcia is the third idol who left the group after the Second General Election.
