Esports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) is back on its 6th iteration this year.
As part of the new tradition of yearly theme, the biggest gaming convention in the country will be going for the cyberpunk theme this year.
The event’s official persona Astra will be also making her debut at ESGS. Cosplayed by Awie De Guzman, Astra will be an integral part of all ESGS events moving forward.
This year’s event partners, PLDT Home Fibr and Smart will be putting a huge gaming zone called ‘Cyber City’. This will give attendees a place to lounge around, recharge devices and try out Virtual Reality games such as Sniper Elite and Beat Saber.
The event will also feature gaming and hardware brands such as Asus Republic of Gamers, MSI, Predator, Legion by Lenovo, HyperX, Corsair, ViewSonic, Gamdias, XPG, Steelseries, Powercolor, Bloody and JBL.
Maxsoft, Nintendo’s official distributor in Southeast Asia will be joining ESGS for the time. Other game publisher, which include Capcom, Ranida Games, Gumi, Boomzap, Ourpalm/GameNow and Kojima Productions will also be present at the event.
The Indie Fiesta is back once again. It will be filled with independent games from both international and local developers that attendees can try out.
ESGS together with Playbook Esports will also be hosting the Fighting Game Arena. They will be holding a series of fighting game tournaments that include games such as TEKKEN 7, Street Fighter V, Dragon Ball FighterZ and more.
Members of the PLDT-Smart Omega Team and SIBOL, the country’s national eSports team will be making their appearance at the event.
ESGS 2019 will happen on October 25 to 27, 2019 at Halls 1-4, SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City. Tickets are on-sale via smtickets.com and all SM Tickets outlets nationwide.
