Two hit anime films, A Silent Voice and Fireworks, Should We See it from the Side or the Bottom? are set to air on ABS-CBN this Holy Week.
This is according to promotional videos aired on the channel, which unveils its special shows this upcoming Lenten season.
A Silent Voice and Firework will air on Good Friday (April 10) and Black Saturday (April 11), respectively at 8AM. The two films will be shown in Filipino-dubbed.
Earlier, the channel announced that it will also air Makoto Shinkai’s ‘Your Name’ this Holy Week.
A Silent Voice is a Japanese anime film based on a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Ōima.The film earned JPY2.2 billion as of December 2016 and was listed 19th in the top 20 highest-grossing film in Japan for 2016.
Meanwhile, Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom? is a 2017 Japanese animated romantic drama film produced by Shaft. It is based on the 1993 Japanese live-action television play of the same name by Shunji Iwai.
Both films were released in local cinemas in 2017 and aired on ABS-CBN’s Asianovela Channel.
