Animax Asia announced on Tuesday that it will air the anime series “Spooky Kitaro 6” this December.
The series premieres December 8, airing double episodes every Monday and Tuesday at 8 PM.
Spooky Kitaro is based on a Japanese manga series created in 1960 by Shigeru Mizuki.
Animax Asia describes the series as follows:
Almost 20 years into the 21st century, people have gradually forgotten about Japanese folklore creatures called ‘yo-kai’. When numerous unexplainable phenomena start confusing adults of the human world, 13-year-old Mana writes a letter to the Yo-kai Post in search of answers, only to be greeted by a yo-kai called Kitaro. Together with Mana, Kitaro strives to unit the human and yo-kai worlds.
ANIMAX Asia is available on local cable television via Skycable, GSat and Cignal. It is also available on over-the-top video streaming site Cignal Play.
