The second Stand By Me Doraemon 3D anime film will be shown in Philippine theaters soon.
This is according to two trailers posted recently by Singapore-based company Odex on their Youtube page.
Apart from the Philippines, the film is also set to open in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia, but the release date has yet to be announced.
Stand by Me Doraemon 2 is a Japanese animated film based on Fujiko Fujio’s Doraemon manga and sequel to the 2014 film Stand by Me Doraemon. It is largely based on the manga chapter “Grandma’s Memories”.
The film was originally scheduled for released on August 8 in Japan but was later postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was released in November 2020.
The first Stand By Me Doraemon opened in the Philippines in June 2015.
