Ani-One Asia recently announced its plans to simulcast upcoming anime series “Getter Robo Arc” this July.
The series will premiere on July 4 at 8:30 PM via the Ani-One Asia Youtube channel.
It will be available for viewers in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Guam, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Northern Mariana Island, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
“Getter Robo Arc” is based on the manga series created by Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa.
Anime News Network describes the manga’s story as follows:
The manga’s story centers on the conflict against the Andromeda Country, the new enemy of humanity that seeks to destroy the source of the getter rays that has devastated its civilization. Hope rests on the titular Getter Robo Arc robot, but the appearance of another mysterious Getter robot, piloted by the son of Ryoma Nagare, introduces another complication to the conflict.
The anime series is directed by Jun Kawagoe, with Tadashi Hayakawa as scriptwriter and supervisor. Bee Media will be producing the series.
