The previously announced Slam Dunk film is set to premiere on December 3 in Japan, the official website unveiled on Saturday. The website also revealed that the film will be titled “THE FIRST SLAM DUNK”
A new teaser poster featuring Ryota Miyagi was also posted. Ryota is the point guard of the Shohoku High School basketball team.

“Slamdunk” is based on a manga series created by Takehiko Inoue. The anime series originally aired from 1993 to 1996 in Japan. The series first aired in the country in 1995.
Toei Animation and DandeLion Animation Studio will be producing the film
