The first-ever Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX) is gearing up to make a significant impact on the gaming industry from August 18 to 20, 2023. The event will be held at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
Organized by the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP), in collaboration with CBZN Perspective, PGDX aims to create an unprecedented platform that brings together players, developers, and fans to celebrate their shared passion. This event promises to showcase the entire journey of game development, from its early stages to its grand unveiling.
Major telecommunication and digital service providers PLDT and Smart, are co-presenting the expo.
The exhibit floor will feature prominent game titles like Genshin Impact, Ragnarok Origin, and Farlight 84. Moreover, leading game publishers and tech giants, such as Nintendo, Playpark, Predator, Samsung, MSI, and Razer Gold, will also grace the event.
Dedicated to nurturing the indie spirit, PGDX will have a special space, the Indie Game Stars area, where aspiring indie game developers can showcase their creativity and innovation throughout the expo.
PGDX goes beyond entertainment, offering educational value. Attendees can join seminars hosted by industry leaders like MOONTON Games, Tencent Games, Google and AP Bren Esports, sharing insights valuable to aspiring developers. Moreover, PGDX’s B2B Biz-Matching website facilitates networking with established developers, publishers, and experts, enhancing engagement in the gaming ecosystem.
