Mackenyu Arata, recognized for portraying Zoro in Netflix’s “One Piece” live-action series, is slated to make a special appearance at ManiPopCon 2023. This event is scheduled from November 17 to 19 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
The announcement came through a teaser video by the Manila Pop Culture Convention (ManiPopCon), generating buzz among fans eager to meet the star in person.
“To my Filipino fans out there, I’m happy to share that I’ll be appearing at the ManiPopCon in Manila on November 17th to the 19th. See you guys there,” said Mackenyu in the video.
Arata’s portrayal of Zoro in the popular “One Piece” live-action series has garnered a significant fan following, making his presence a focal point of ManiPopCon 2023.
Mackenyu Arata is a Japanese actor known for notable roles in Chihayafuru and various manga adaptations. He gained prominence after his award-winning portrayal of Arata Wataya in the Chihayafuru live-action trilogy and has continued to captivate audiences with roles in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Rurouni Kenshin: The Final, Knights of the Zodiac, and notably as Roronoa Zoro in the 2023 Netflix adaptation of One Piece.
