Fans of shonen anime, or action-oriented anime aimed at young boys, will have a rare opportunity to meet the Filipino voice actors behind their favorite characters at the 16th Christmas Toyfair on December 16-17, 2023.
The Meet and Greet event is organized by CaliCo Toys, a local toy distributor, and TOYCON PH, the country’s premier pop culture convention.
The voice actors who will grace the event are Alfred Alain Labatos, Christian V, Jeff Utanes, Candice Arellano, and Blair Arellano. They are known for voicing the lead roles of popular shonen anime series such as Bleach, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and One Piece, among others.
This is the first time that these Filipino voice actors will come together for a fan event, making it a special occasion for shonen anime enthusiasts.
Pre-registration starts on Friday, December 1st. The meet and greet event will be held at the CaliCo Toys booth at the Christmas Toyfair, which will take place at the Megatrade Halls, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
