The highly anticipated feature film SPY x FAMILY: Code White is set to release in Philippines in March.
According to the social media posts from Encore Films Philippines, the film will premier on March 13, 2024.
SPY x FAMILY: Code White is based on the shōnen manga series by Tatsuya Endo, which follows the adventures of the Forger family – master spy Loid, assassin wife Yor, telepathic daughter Anya, and canine companion Bond – who have to pretend to be a normal family while carrying out secret missions.
The film features an original story supervised by Endo himself, as well as the voice cast from the anime television series. The plot revolves around the Forgers’ winter vacation that turns into a world-saving mission, involving new villains and allies.
The film is directed by Takashi Katagiri, with screenplay by Ichirō Ōkouchi, and produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks. The main theme song is “Soulsoup” by Official Hige Dandism.
The film was released in Japan on December 22, 2023, and received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. It also performed well at the box office, earning US$30.6 million as of January 2024.
