The highly anticipated film “Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle” is set to be screened in theaters across Southeast Asia including the Philippines.
According to Anime News Network, the movie will debut in Hong Kong and Macau on April 11, followed by Taiwan on April 12. Subsequent releases are scheduled for the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India in May. The film had its premiere in Japan on February 16.
“Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle” is part of the two-part Haikyu!! Final sequel project, focusing on the awaited showdown between Karasuno and Nekoma high school volleyball teams. Karasuno’s offense clashes with Nekoma’s defense in the “Battle at the Garbage Dump,” named for the schools’ crow and cat motifs.
