The main voice cast for the upcoming Voltes V Legacy live-action movie has been unveiled. The cast includes five members of the Voltes team and four characters from the Boazanian Earth Conquest Army. Along with this announcement, a dubbed trailer featuring their voices has also been released.

The Voltes team’s key members are voiced by renowned Japanese voice actors. Chiaki Kobayashi, known for roles in Mashle and Hell’s Paradise, voices Steve Armstrong, the protagonist and pilot of the first Volt Machine. His performance emphasizes both the power of the original anime’s signature lines and a balance between the original Japanese and Filipino dubs. Other cast members include Yamato Kinjo as Mark Gordon, Kagura Hiroyuki as Big Bert Armstrong, Makoto Koichi as Little John Armstrong, and Megumi Nakajima as Jamie Robinson.

The Boazanian Empire’s leading figures are also voiced by Japan’s top voice talents. Junichi Suwabe, known for Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia, voices Prince Zardoz (formerly Prince Heinel). Riho Iida voices Zandra, Kosuke Echigoya plays Zuhl, and Yusaku Hiyama voices Draco. Suwabe’s performance brings a new dimension to the iconic enemy commander, who remains one of the most influential characters in anime and tokusatsu history.

The trailer highlights action-packed scenes with Voltes V’s combined attacks and showcases Steve’s iconic battle cries. It also features Julie Anne San Jose’s rendition of the classic Voltes V theme song.

Voltes V: Legacy will premiere in Japan on October 18 and will include new scenes and improved CG quality. It stars Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho, and is based on the 1977 anime Voltes V.
